Sadly, a single stormy winter dramatically altered the coastline in the San Francisco bay area. Here are a variety of photos taken at the pier in Pacifica, California. If you doubt the power of global warming and erosion, these images may change your mind. Pacifica made the national news with our stormy weather and large waves last year. In one evening, a 30-foot piece of cliff feel to the sea below...about two miles north of where these photos were taken.
